Due to weather arriving later each season, the Mexican Wildlife Department has granted an extended wing-shooting season until March 15, 2011.

Fin & Feather Safaris has represented Rubens for many years in the NE corner of Mexico, with continued success for most North American ducks, Speckled bellied geese, lots of Bobwhite quail and Mourning doves.

Lodging, food & open bar are excellent. Our full service 3 or 4 day programs include hunting & gun permits, plus use of Ruben's semi-auto shotguns. Fly to McAllen, Texas and Ruben's service will provide R/T airport transfers.

Galo features wild Black-throated Bobwhite quail over excellent pointing dogs. This old-time quail hunt may also be combined with Blue-wing Teal and or Tarpon & Snook fishing.

Charles Arndt of Fin & Feather Safaris, after an exploratory hunt, joined forces with Galo in the fall of 2005. Charles has personally hunted with Galo numerous times, plus booked many satisfied clients over the years.

Our 3 day - 4 night programs feature morning & afternoon quail hunts that may also be combined with small tarpon & snook fishing between Cancun & Merida.

A normal quail hunt produces about 10 covie rises in the morning & again in the afternoon. In addition, we offer hot-gun Blue-winged Teal hunts in beautiful jungle lakes outside of Merida. It's possible to combo these two locations by adding a day or two.

Included in our 3 or 4 day programs are airport transfers, 3 daily meals, use of Galo's 12 or 20 gauge Benelli & Beretta shot-guns, hunting & fishing licenses and well trained pointing dogs.
