#1. Baja California -- Valley & Mountain. Quail
Outside of our Ojos Negros Lodge you will probably see
the most Valley Quail of your hunting career. The numbers
can be mind-boggling and as hot-gun as quail hunting can
be today. In addition, if you will go into the mountains,
you will have the best west-coast hunt for collecting
enough Mountain quail to mount. Our Lodge is comfortable,
not plush, and complete with air conditioning or heat
and good Mexican--American food.
Season: October 8, 2010 through January 16, 2011

#2. - Baja CA - Wild Ringed-necked Pheasants, Gambel Quail
& Doves.
Wild Ringed Necked Pheasants in Mexico! With out a doubt,
some of the best Pheasant hunting in the Northern Hemisphere,
is due to limited hunting pressure, abundant crops &
constant water for the birds to thrive on, in our area.
In the afternoons, your hunting choices are Gambel Quail
walk-up style, or Mourning doves. With these 3 choices
and a great lunch in between, it's always a pleasure to
hunt with us. Our New Mexican style lodge features excellent
food, comfortable bedrooms and a safe pleasant atmosphere.
Season: October 24 - December 28, 2010

Program
#3. San Quintin Bay Baja for the best of Pacific Black
Brant.
The US Fish & Wildlife Service claims the population
of Pacific Black Brant number about 125,000 in the world.
Most day's San Quintin Bay holds at least 40 to 60% of
these beautiful aquatic geese. Liberal daily limits are
10 per person. Most seasons about 20% are banded. Occasionally
a Brant is collected with an antenna sticking out of it's
back, which is how the Service proves that many Brant
fly non-stop to the Bay from Russia or Alaska. This past
season a Russian leg band was collected.
Season: December 5, 2010 - February 27, 2011 -
Daily limit per person is 10.
Hunt days are Friday, Saturday & Sunday AM only. (Steel
shot only).
Cost: (each) $2,450.00 - 3 morning hunts - 3 nights

#4. Baja Hunting Outfitter - Deer Hunting in Sonora, Mexico |
For a short,
but successful period in January, Outfitter Arturo Malo
host's limited hunters in the state of Sonora for Trophy
Mule & Coues Deer. This coming season, January 2011,
we are limiting 2 separate groups of 4 hunters each. Adjacent
to our beautiful low-desert properties are over 10,000
acres of rolling hills & mountains where we have taken
the 3rd World Record Coues deer, according to the Bone
& Crocket record book.
Baja Outfitters Season: December 26th - January
2nd & January 2nd - 9th.

a member of the "International Turkey Grand Slam".
This is the honor to be sought after by the serious turkey
hunter, and what an accomplishment! Arturo Malo travels
from Baja to the State of Yucatan to operate a very comfortable
Jungle Camp utilizing the very competent Mayan guides.
The program runs the full month of April and has enjoyed
100% success in turkey collection, for many years, of
Ocellated turkey collection. Space is limited, book as
early as possible. |
