Fin & Feather Safaris began it's Hunting / Fishing booking business with Argentina in 1990. We still represent the Outfitters we started with. However, over the years, other quality Outfitters have been added that offer mixed-bag programs.

One of those Outfitters is Paul Clutterbuck, owner of Clutterbuck Safaris. Fin & Feather has been associated with Paul since 2003. He offers a mixed bag of wing-shooting programs, which include ducks, doves, pigeons, and Perdiz (Partridge). What a combo!

When hunting with Paul, the theme is mixed bag, not necessarily hot-gun, but generous bag limits and multiple species.

A typical day starts in a platform duck blind, complete with bench and floating decoys. Area species are White-cheeked Pintail, Yellow-billed Pintail, Chiloe Wigeon, White-faced Whistling duck, Cinnamon & Speckled Teal, Red Shoveler, & early season Rosybill Pochards. Your personal limit of 50 is usually divided between AM & PM hunts or 40 ducks in the AM finishing with birds in the PM.

After lunch, your hunting choices are twofold. You may hunt Perdiz (Partridge) over Brittanys or Setters. Afternoons your targets are doves & Spot-winged Pigeons over decoys, which usually offers the opportunity to shoot up to 300 shells.

Baiting is legal in Argentina, so Paul's staff spends lots of effort to bait before & during the season. Each pair of hunters will be assisted by a bird-boy.

Estancia El Pilar provides excellent accommodations and home cooked meals. Drive time to hunting is usually a few minutes to one hour.

Upon arrival to the International Airport in Buenos Aires, you will clear your guns with Customs and then be greeted by Paul's driver. The transfer normally takes 4-1/2 hours, over good highways, to Estancia El Pilar. Upon arrival at the lodge, lunch will be served, then you are off for an afternoon shoot.

Cost (each):	4 hunt days - 4 nights R/B $3,195.00 (1/2 day PM - 3 full - ½ day last AM)
	5 hunt days - 5 nights R/B $3,795.00 (1/2 day PM - 4 full - ½ day last AM)
Cost is based on minimum of 4 hunters, maximum of 10 hunters.

Booking terms: A 50% deposit is required by Fin & Feather within 15 days of program commitment. Balance is due 60 days prior to departure. Payments should be made by cash or check. No credit cards. Payments are non-refundable unless a replacement is supplied prior to the 60-day final payment date.

It is now necessary to register guns with a US Customs office on Form # 4457 prior to departure. Have this form available when re-entering the US.

	Perdiz	May, June, July

Limits:	Ducks Perdiz	40 per morning 10 per afternoon

	AM hunt 40 ducks, finishing PM hunt with 10 Perdiz or unlimited doves
